Let’s talk about maintenance!
Because this is the week we shift from decluttering mode to maintenance mode inside The Simplified Year.
Remember, we are here to not only declutter - which creates de-stressing, simplifying, clear-mindedness, and so much more - but to flow into a new rhythm of life. The rhythm comes when you’re done decluttering (although it also includes maintaining decluttering, since we always accumulate more eventually) and you step into the easy stream of life, with new habits and mindset to help keep you there!
We’ve sorted the toiletries.
We’ve tackled the stockpiles.
We’ve cleared the cleaning supplies.
Now, it’s time to keep it simple (and clean!)… forever.
Yes, really.
Now it’s time to build some good habits.
Toss and donate the moment you see the need, and suddenly you’ll find - you’re in maintenance mode!
Then add the next layer… keeping it clean (not just tidy).
WHY does cleaning the bathroom have to be a massive chore, done all at once?
Hint: It doesn’t.
We’ve been sold the idea that bathroom cleaning has to be this all-day, gloves-on, bleach-fuming, bucket-hauling ordeal.
But that is not the vibe we’re bringing into this new era of ease. That is not rhythm, that’s disruption.
The truth is: once the clutter is gone, once the products are pared down, and once the storage is intentional - maintaining it gets stupidly easy.
